HelloFresh, the world's leading meal delivery company, feeds more than just its customers. It also feeds thousands of workers at 11 distribution centers across the US, keeping teams inspired and engaged. Unfortunately, the logistics of ordering food for so many employees — with such a wide range or tastes and dietary preferences — was no easy task for HelloFresh employees Katie Francis and Alyssa Lontine. They needed a solution to make the ordering process less time consuming and more efficient.
Complicated ordering process
HelloFresh operates 24/7 with distribution centers nationwide, making it difficult to find caterers and plan meals for employees at multiple locations. It was incredibly time- consuming for Katie and Alyssa to coordinate logistics.
Fluctuating headcounts
Employee headcounts range from 50 to more than 1,000 workers on any given day. Without a consistent headcount, Katie and Alyssa wasted hours putting together complex orders that often resulted in too many or too few meals.
Diverse food preferences
