The Challenge
Stax is a global management consulting firm serving corporate and private equity clients across industries. With North American locations in Boston, Chicago, and New York City, it operates employee meal programs to feed its hybrid workforce and fuel food-focused special events that foster a stronger company culture. Stax’s first challenge is that each office uses separate vendors and ordering methods, and the finance team needed more visibility into their food spend. Additionally, the New York City office’s executive assistant Natalie Rosenthal was spending up to two hours every week coordinating weekly meals for the company’s hybrid employees — taking valuable hours away from her other tasks.
