Supplier diversity

We’re committed to building a marketplace that reflects the diversity of our community, customers, and catering partners.

ezCater is excited to expand our Supplier Diversity Program to help amplify restaurants owned by a member of an underrepresented group

Many of ezCater’s customers want to align spend with personal values or organizational goals. Starting in 2021, we have asked our catering partners to voluntarily supply demographic information. Since then, we’ve expanded our data collection capabilities, including embedding it into our ezManage platform so our catering partners can more easily access it. We also have clearer and more transparent definitions and included an attestation for catering partners to ensure the most accurate information possible. To learn more, read our Frequently Asked Questions about our Supplier Diversity Program.

Our program is focused on three main areas:

Highlight and amplify

Improve the visibility and discovery of restaurants on our marketplace that are owned by underrepresented groups, as well as small businesses. ezCater will highlight these restaurants on our site and in social media.

Build trust and community

Partner with thought leaders working to advance equity in the restaurant industry and ensure ezCater is an attractive marketplace for all restaurants.

Provide transparency and resources

ezCater has custom reports available to help our corporate customers better understand their spend by restaurant ownership demographics.

Our new “diversity in ownership” filter

The ezCater Marketplace now features a filter that allows customers to search for restaurants owned by members of underrepresented groups.
